The key to a  spa-like bath environment is using simple natural soft neutrals and taking out detail –  a floating vanity, mirror and floor to ceiling glass are some of the ways a Zen space is achieved.

We are pleased to be able to service you in our working kitchen, theatre room and sample rooms.

     Every project it seems has its own individual set of challenges to overcome. These two kitchens are no exception. If you are a past client of mine you will probably remember the pipes we had to move or the windows that that had to be changed which made a big difference to the end result.  Sometimes we can just work within the constraints as we did here:

• Added a small  center island and the tall cabinetry on the right wall.

• The 9′ ceiling allows us to put    cabinets above the glass doors and the tall pantry cabinets to double the amount of storage

• Very uppermost white cabinets    follow the line of the existing soffit.

• Soffits do not have to be removed and in the case of the next kitchen – we are covering the soffit in matching alder and putting a crown at the ceiling.

• Kitchens before 2000 were usually enclosed rooms we now love to hate. A 4 1/2 ” steel column was used by the client as support for the floor above so the walls could come down. Good solution – only we have to make sure the column integrates with the room.

• The Granite we chose will absolutely “steel” the show. It glitters with mica in a sea of copper and black . This Brazilian stone just now being quarried because there is new technology extract it from the earth.

• The open post and beam industrial look is further enhanced by the stainless steel appliances and warm glass back-splash.
