Summer Newsletter
2017

The Passive House project we have been working on introduces living “off the grid” in the city. Clients will enjoy no heating bills and constantly circulating fresh air through out.
Photos above show our designs of the main kitchen and the master bathroom.
There are only a handful of these in the city limits of Vancouver so far.
*Passive house (German: Passivhaus) is a rigorous, voluntary standard for energy efficiency in a building, reducing its ecological footprint. It results in ultra-low energy buildings that require little energy for space heating or cooling.

Greetings!
Yes! I am Sorry! I have been unable to make time to do a quarterly newsletter since last September! Instead, I have started a weekly feature series that we are introducing to you in the sidebar.  I will share my knowledge on many subjects on a more regular basis in short articles.
We have been working very hard on our development of service, skills and product research such as LED lighting design. Our efforts have been rewarded by recognition from our clients and our third Houzz Award of 2017 for Customer Satisfaction.
From my view, life in the home is going to continuously get better.  New technology is constantly changing our interiors.  Luckily, my team learns fast and applies quickly and is getting great results. We just completed a project with the client living a thousand miles away. During the project, she traveled extensively – through many time zones.  We selected material and procured samples from all over the world for her home.
Though its very exciting to do that, we still enjoy working with Canadian companies who have integrity and who understand our particular challenges. No wonder we are so good at science and technology as we have to overcome a vast geographical size with a small population. We have to work smarter and faster than every one else- I wonder if that is why we have gotten so good on skates?
Happy Canada Day! I look forward to the 150 year Canadian Celebration on all levels. My appreciation for being Canadian makes me joyful, and I am happy my grown children share the same appreciation for our grand home.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your home experience.
All My Best,
Shelley

We are working with Elements to design a stainlesss steel shelf and towel rack.  Elements offers many doorstyles and  glass treatments to our line.  City Dwellers have many storage challenges which we can overcome with our broad product lines  but if  we can’t find it – we make it!
Projects come out costing less when you add our Interior Design Services to your Design Build Team. Let’s MEET!
