The PDX Street of Dreams is the only showcase of high end homes of its kind in the Pacific North West. The tireless organizers, builders and designers continue to to bring the great blends and aesthetic choices “Portland, Oregon Style” each year. Portland’s style is different from Seattle’s high art vibe and Vancouver’s contemporary modern. Portland blends farmhouse chic and contemporary freshness with a distinct warmth. The rolling green hills, woodsy forests and rivers could be the inspiration, but I think another factor is that the city is rich in talent and home-grown design suppliers such as Rejuvenation Hardware, Chown Hardware, and Ann Sacks and Pratt & Larson hand made tiles. Each of these companies, pride itself in bespoke and interesting products that help make’s Portland’s own design aesthetic distinctive.
Take a look these interior design ideas and take-a-ways from this year’s show.
